So I love the blog Honestly WTF, these ladies have serious taste when it comes to fashion and the latest DIY's. I always love making them and this weekend I have been making a couple friendship bracelets. I read the DIY and teen instinct kicked in and I was off and braiding. Sometimes I feel really silly wearing friendship bracelets...like people look at me like I'm still in High School, so I decided to 1.) think about my color choices..so as to not seem too pre-teen or the like 2.) to add a clasp/chain

What is a friendship bracelet without making one for a friend so I made another. Here they are:

I really like the way they came out. My friend is definitely more of a pink person and I am definitely not so I think they fit really well. I hope that you stop over at Honestly WTF and make some DIY's of your own...and share them with me of course!

DIY:CHEVRON TOTE

I used Tulip brand matte marine blue fabric paint, which can be found at pretty much any craft store, and I may even suggest buying the bigger bottle. I went through 3 small bottles. You may think you have coated the canvas evenly but after drying you can still see spots, so you may have to reapply. I chose the navy blue color because navy acts as a neutral and really can go with everything. This is a pretty inexpensive DIY and you probably already have most of the supplies. I did go a little more expensive when I bought the tote, I think it was $6.00 but it zips and who doesn't love that!

This is definitely an easy DIY but be sure to keep your angles similar otherwise it could look sloppy. Also make sure that all of your edges are clean because anything that isn't will certainly show up once you remove the tape. I would also say plan out your whole tote by taping it off because on my first side I didn't and my zig zags weren't even in size so I had to go back and fix it. *Note: Let paint dry for four hours, flat. If you plan to wash it wait 72 hours & turn the tote inside out.

I always wanted to paint something on a canvas tote but didn't know quite what until I got my inspiration from Orchid Grey's "Black, White, Blue" outfit post this Tuesday.

Sneak Peeks of Printed Peaks

Here is the second type of the Mansfield necklace that I created with a lighter stain and chocolate brown leather accents. 

Here is another Skye necklace with an ombre effect with the stains. I did make another one in a dark stain, which has already been sold. 

This is the second type of the Bromley necklace in this collection. I'm not sure if you can tell but it is done in a darker stain and the wood grain is definitely different from the one pictured above. 

And this is the third type of Bromley necklace, which is stained in the lightest stain.

This is the second type of the Stark necklace, which was featured in a recent outfit post. This may be my favorite of all of them, I absolutely adore the dark stain and chain details.

This is the third type of the stark necklace done in a lighter stain with chain and chocolate brown leather accents. 

The second type of the Equinox necklace is done in a darker stain with tan leather accents.

 This third type of Equinox necklace is done in a light stain with dark chocolate brown leather and chain accents underneath.

 This fourth type of Equinox necklace is done in a light stain and has chain fringe accents.

This fifth type of Equinox necklace is done in a dark stain with a lot of chain fringe accents.

So there you have it the remaining 14 of the 15 for Printed Peaks opening collection! Also, don't forget that I also have a number of unfinished pieces left for future collections but if you want in on this collection I would suggest a custom piece!
