Inspired to Sew: Yellow Flannel

I've come to understand that I love flannel plaid patterns. I think it may be the Vermont in me coming through. I really loved this yellow colored plaid and knew I needed it. I always want plaid long sleeved button ups but they always make me look so weird because I'm a broad shouldered human being. Anyway, I'm not sure how I stumbled upon A.P.C store but I did and loved all the different shades of colors. I found the poncho below and thought about how lovely a poncho inspired hoodie would be. But I'm talking a huge oversized hood. I'm excited and I hope all goes well.

Remember it's sew september so get to it! There is no better time to start than now. If you mess up take the stitches out and start over. If you don't practice you will never know your true strengths and won't know what you need to work on. I love trying new things all the time and think that my skills have improved just from trying things. Today I'm wearing a dress and tote of my own creation...feels so good!

Thanks for stopping in! I think you all are so great and talented and I'm honored to have you all as my friends and fellow bloggers! Enjoy your day! -Lo
