Make Something Sweet for Someone Sweet

My sweet boy has an oh so sweet little niece who just turned three and we attended her birthday party. She received super cute frilly fairy wings and pretty purple and pink princess dresses. Amongst the cuteness was my little doll, that I am admittedly quite proud of.
I used an incredible tutorial that I found on Punk Projects from Ric Rac
She originally went for more of a robot look (aren't they soo cute!?) but as soon as I saw the face I thought of a hooded little girl. I loved the pocket and decided to add two as well as some arms and some rabbit ears.
Here are a few of my own personal suggestions when working with this tutorial:
-If you can't print out pattens (like moi) trace the patten to your felt with chalk from your computer
-I used all felt, the pattern calls for wool but you can easily use all felt..it does look way cute with the wool though.
-Where it asked for interfacing I just doubled the wool..mostly just for the body.
-Use any piece of cardboard for the bottom piece, it worked well for me.
-Use your imagination, it was so fun!

Thanks for stopping in!
