Printed Peaks

I've been meaning to make more items for my shop, Printed Peaks. You can check out my page right here on my blog to learn more about Printed Peaks if you are a new reader. The shop has been updated, which reflects lower prices.

Since many of you know I am on a kick for all things "green" I thought it would be interesting to incorporate that into my shop. What I have come up with isn't revolutionary but I am very pleased to say the least. I've created a few bracelets and necklaces which are made from vintage scarves. If you can tell this fabric I'm using is the same from my Green DIY: Cardigan Bag. I've fused the fabric to make it more solid and much easier to work with. So here are the latest pictures (necklaces yet to be photographed). I'm greatly inspired by my traditional Printed Peaks geometric shapes but also by military insignia.

Here is another peek at a different colored scarf:

I am in love with the juxtaposition of the delicateness of the scarf with the more harshness of the geometric shapes. These are yet to be in the shop and will be limited and unique. I would really love to see what you think about them. They will be selling from $5-10. I think they would make really great inexpensive holiday gifts.

Thanks for stopping in!
